THE COST OF GOOD CARE: OPTIONS & RESOURCES FOR PET OWNERS WITH FINANCIAL CONCERNS

In order to continue to offer the outstanding level of service that you’ve come to rely on us for we’re asking our clients to arrive to their scheduled appointments willing and able to pay for the services they have requested and agreed to. Due to a recent influx of payments made by check WVC has amended it’s policy toward accepting checks:

Whiting Veterinary Clinic will NOT accept personal checks that have been post dated for payment. Payment for services is due at the time they are rendered.

If you have financial concerns please let a CSR or technician know that you will require a written estimate PRIOR to any treatments or diagnostics performed after your pets exam. It is our Doctors job to make recommendations for treatment based on the totality of the circumstances, however as the owner you’re not obligated to purchase any or all of the proposed services if your finances do not allow for it. Our staff will always work with you on all options available to treat your pet within your budget.

While WVC does not currently offer in-house payment plans we do accept ALL major credit cards, including CareCredit. Customer Service Reps are more than happy to provide you with access to a laptop where you can register on the Care Credit site for immediate approval of funds that are made available to you same day. Ensuring that Pet Parents are not leaving outstanding balances keeps our price points stable and maintains our ability to focus our efforts on providing top tier healthcare instead of pursuing delinquent accounts.
